Department of Marketing and Tourism Management is the department which crafts creative marketers, competent tourism experts, extraordinary multimedia minds and effective business communication experts to the market. The Department of Marketing and Tourism Management offers degrees in a versatile range of disciplines such as marketing, tourism, multimedia and business communication from NSBM, approved under the Ministry of Higher Education and University of Plymouth, a high-ranking foreign affiliated university. Students will experience learning and a real business atmosphere through different interactions with the department and subject circles. Through this process, the department will ensure to create competent graduates for the industry with the necessary analytical skills. DEPARTMENT HEAD’S MESSAGE

Department of Marketing and Tourism Management aims to build, develop and deliver the most engaging and relevant learning experience in most demanding fields in modern day management: marketing, tourism, multimedia and business communication. Marketing and tourism cohorts comprise competitive industry experts, skillful staff and alumni who have dedicated themselves to assisting students to reach their academic and non-academic goals. Business communication and Multimedia disciplines intends to nurture the experts in communication, public relations, media and television industries. The department consists of over 800 undergraduates. It offers degree programmes approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and affiliated with high-ranking international universities. The department provides the best platform for undergraduates to engage in academic discipline-related activities. We adopt a multidisciplinary approach to research and teaching to enhance the current management thinking and contribute to better lives, organizations and societies. Our core knowledge domains include marketing management, consumer behaviour, advertising, media and art, photography and videography, game designing, multimedia project management, public relations, events and conventions, hospitality management, food and beverage, accommodation operations and etc. We strive for excellence in teaching and research through collaborative engagement with researchers, students and practitioners to create up-to-date knowledge based on contemporary business realities. Thereby we cordially invite organizations, practitioners, researchers and students to join us in this challenging knowledge-seeking journey. Purpose of the NSBM Marketing Circle
