- How do I apply to NSBM?
You can either visit the NSBM campus to register with the guidance of Admissions Officers, register online through the NSBM registration portal, or submit an inquiry if you need guidance before applying over the phone. - What qualifications do I need for admission?
Entry requirements vary depending on the programme. Foundation Programme requires G.C.E. Ordinary Level qualifications. Most undergraduate programmes require G.C.E. Advanced Level qualifications or an equivalent qualification, while postgraduate programmes require relevant undergraduate qualifications/ professional experience. - Can I apply before receiving my examination results?
Yes. Certain programmes may allow provisional applications. Final admission will be subject to meeting the required entry qualifications. - Is there an application fee?
Application and registration fees vary by programme. Please refer to the relevant programme page or contact the Admissions Office for the latest information. - Does NSBM accept international students?
Yes. Students from many countries are welcome to apply for degree programmes at NSBM. - How can I pay my tuition fees?

- Are international degree programmes available? Yes. NSBM offers internationally recognized degree programmes through academic partnerships with Victoria University and Southern Cross University in Australia and University of Plymouth in the United Kingdom.
- In what medium are the lectures conducted in ? Degree programmes are delivered in English.
- How long do degree programmes take to complete? Most undergraduate degree programmes are completed within 3 to 4 years, while postgraduate programmes typically range from 1 to 2 years.
- What postgraduate programmes are available? NSBM offers a wide range of postgraduate programmes through the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies and Professional Advancement, including PhD, master’s degrees, postgraduate diplomas, and professional development programmes.
- Are part-time study options available? Yes. Selected programmes, particularly postgraduate and professional programmes, are available on a part-time or flexible study basis to accommodate working professionals. However, all undergraduate programmes are full-time study.
- Does NSBM offer Foundation programmes? Yes. NSBM offers Foundation Programmes designed for students who have completed their G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) examinations or equivalent qualifications and wish to progress to an undergraduate degree programme.

Are sports facilities available?
Yes. NSBM offers a range of sports and recreational facilities to encourage student well-being and extracurricular participation, including the Recreational Centre, Playgrounds, Indoor Stadium, Swimming Pool, Indoor and Outdoor Gymnasiums, and Sports Pavilions.
CAREER DEVELOPMENT
Does NSBM help students find internships and employment opportunities?
Yes. NSBM provides students with a range of opportunities to enhance their employability and connect with potential employers. Many programmes offer internship opportunities from the second year onwards through the 2+1 and 2+2 study structures, allowing students to gain valuable industry experience while attending lectures on weekends and graduate with work experience.
In addition, NSBM organises its annual career fair, along with other career fairs and employer engagement initiatives through NFORCE (NSBM For Career and Entrepreneurship), NSBM’s career guidance unit where students can network with leading organisations, explore internship and job opportunities, and develop their professional skills. The university also works closely with industry partners to support students’ career development and graduate employability.
Does NSBM provide career guidance?
Yes. NSBM provides comprehensive career guidance and employability support through NFORCE (NSBM For Career and Entrepreneurship), the University’s dedicated career development unit. Students have access to career counselling, CV and interview preparation workshops, career development programmes, industry networking opportunities, employer engagement initiatives, career fairs, and internship and job placement support to help them prepare for successful careers.
