Mr. Hansaja Banduge serves as a Lecturer (Probationary) in the Department of Marketing and Tourism of the Faculty of Business at NSBM Green University. He brings to his role a strong combination of academic excellence, professional expertise, and a deep commitment to inspiring the next generation of marketers. Mr. Hansaja possesses over two years of experience as a Temporary Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Marketing Management, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, where he gained extensive exposure to undergraduate teaching and student development. He holds a First-Class B.Sc. (Marketing Management) Special Degree from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and is currently pursuing an MBA in Marketing at the University of Colombo. Professionally, he is an Associate Member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) and a Passed Finalist of AAT Sri Lanka. Before entering academia, Mr. Banduge worked with several reputed organizations, including EY (Ernst & Young), Ceylon Green Ayurveda (Pvt) Ltd, and MAS Intimates (Pvt) Ltd, where he developed strong analytical, marketing, and managerial skills that now enrich his teaching and research practices. Passionate about teaching and mentoring, he actively contributes to various student associations and clubs, promoting creativity, leadership, and academic excellence. His teaching and research interests include marketing management, consumer behaviour, integrated marketing communications, services marketing, business statistics. Beyond academia, Mr. Hansaja’s interests extend to sports and aesthetics, reflecting his belief in the value of a holistic education that nurtures both intellectual and personal growth. His active engagement in cultural and sporting initiatives underscores his commitment to fostering a vibrant and well-rounded learning environment.
