NSBM Department of Marketing and Tourism Management successfully hosted I-HOST 2026 on 3rd June 2026, bringing together industry experts, academics, and undergraduates in tourism and hospitality for a meaningful platform of learning and collaboration.

 

Organized in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Hospitality Graduates Association (SLHGA), the event strengthened industry–academia engagement through insightful sessions led by experienced industry professionals.

 

A key highlight was “Destination Sri Lanka”, the inter-university quiz competition conducted in two rounds, featuring undergraduates from state universities, non-state universities, and higher education institutions offering tourism, hospitality, and event management programmes across Sri Lanka. The winners of the competition were also awarded in recognition of their outstanding performance.
