The felicitation and inauguration ceremony of the NSBM Sports Council 2025/26 was successfully held at the Green Boardroom of NSBM Green University.

 

The event was honored by the presence of Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa – Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Chaminda Wijesinghe – Director of Student Welfare, Mr. Thisal Yatawara – Head of Student Affairs, along with the Lecturers in Charge of Sports at NSBM, Ms. Shanika Sewwandi – Executive of Sports and Physical Education, and the Recreation Center staff.

 

The outgoing Sports Council board was warmly appreciated and applauded for their dedication and valuable contributions in making the past year a successful one. 

 

A new chapter begins as the Sports Council for 2026 was officially appointed, taking on the responsibility of leading and making the upcoming year even more vibrant and memorable.
