Noor Al Iftar – Annual Iftar 2026, organized by the Islamic Society of NSBM Green University, was held on 04th March 2026 at the University Auditorium, bringing together students and staff in a spirit of unity and reflection during the holy month of Ramadan.

 

The annual Iftar gathering holds special significance at NSBM as it creates a meaningful space for community engagement, reflection, and connection. The evening celebrated the core values of Islam while fostering cultural understanding and strengthening bonds within the NSBM community.

 

The event was honored by the presence of Vice Chancellor, Prof. E.A. Weerasinghe, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Deans of the Faculties, Master In-Charge of the society, Mr. Shaja Musthaffa, Head of the Department of Operations and Logistics, along with NSBM staff members.
