The Student Investment Awareness Session – InvestED, organised by SIAT – Student Circle of Accounting and Finance, Department of Accounting and Finance, was successfully conducted for students of the 23.2/24.1 batch under the Investment Portfolio Management module.

 

Held in collaboration with SCAF, the session was enriched by the presence of a professional team from Capital Alliance Securities (Pvt) Ltd, one of Sri Lanka’s leading stock brokering companies. Sincere appreciation is extended to Ms. Nishara Catherine, Ms. Shifani Ahamadeen, and Ms. Nisansala Sandamini for sharing their valuable expertise and guiding students on stock market investments, portfolio management strategies, and the account opening process.

 

The session provided students with practical exposure and industry-oriented knowledge, bridging theory with real-world investment practices and empowering them to make informed financial decisions.
