NSBM Green University proudly welcomed the newly enrolled students of the MBA and MBS Programmes (26.1 Intake) at the official inauguration ceremony held on 14th June 2026. The ceremony marked the beginning of a transformative postgraduate journey, reaffirming the University’s commitment to nurturing future business leaders through academic excellence, industry engagement, and lifelong learning.

 

The ceremony was honoured by the presence of Mr. Shamal Gunawardena, Chief Operating Officer of CEAT Kelani Holdings (Pvt) Ltd., who delivered the keynote address. Drawing on his extensive industry experience, he shared valuable insights, encouraging the new postgraduate candidates.

 

The event was further graced by Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Deputy Vice Chancellor; Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance; Dr. Madhavi Hewadikaram, Dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies and Professional Advancement; Dr. Tharindu Gunathilake, Head of the Professional Advancement Unit; and Ms. Rekha Kulasekara, MBA/MBS Coordinator, together with academic and administrative staff, and the newly enrolled Master’s candidates.

 

The inauguration concluded on an inspiring note, warmly welcoming the MBA and MBS 26.1 intake to the NSBM postgraduate community.
