NSBM Undergraduates of the Quantity Surveying and Civil Engineering degree programmes recently engaged in a valuable site visit to the ICC PPVC Factory in Ratmalana, operated by International Construction Consortium (Pvt) Ltd.

 

The visit was organized with the aim of providing students with hands-on exposure to modern construction technologies, specifically focusing on off-site fabrication techniques and the implementation of Prefabricated Pre-finished Volumetric Construction (PPVC). It provided the opportunity to observe advanced production processes, precision engineering methods, and the integrated systems that support efficient, high-quality modular construction.

 

This industry engagement significantly enriched the students’ academic learning by bridging classroom theory with real-world practice. It also reinforced NSBM’s ongoing commitment to producing industry-ready graduates through dynamic, experience-based learning.
