NSBM Nursing Undergraduates Organize “Nourish to Flourish ’26” Therapeutic Food Exhibition

The Nursing Undergraduates of the 25.2 and 25.3 batches of our Department of Health Sciences at the Faculty of Science, successfully organized “Nourish to Flourish ’26,” a Therapeutic Food Exhibition, as part of the Applied Nutrition and Dietetics module of the BSc (Hons) Nursing Degree Program.
 
The exhibition showcased a diverse range of therapeutic diets designed to support the dietary management of various health conditions. Through creative displays, informative presentations, and engaging discussions, students demonstrated their knowledge of therapeutic nutrition and its practical application in nursing care. The event highlighted the important role of nurses in providing nutrition-based interventions, patient education, and holistic healthcare support.
 
The event was graced by Dr. Nuwanthi Katuwavila, Dean of the Faculty of Science; Dr. Madhavi Hewadikaram, Dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies and Professional Advancement and Senior Grade Nursing Tutor Ms. Sandyani de Silva, Principal and Course Coordinator of the BSc (Hons) Nursing Degree Program, together with the academic staff of the Faculty of Science.
