NSBM Mini Career Fair 2026 Connects Students with Leading Industry Opportunities

NSBM Green University successfully hosted the NSBM Mini Career Fair 2026 on 11th June 2026 at the NSBM Student Center and the Faculty of Computing, creating a dynamic platform that connected students with leading employers and career opportunities across diverse industries.
The event was officially inaugurated by Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, Vice-Chancellor of NSBM Green University, and Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, together with the Deans of the university: Dr. Thilini De Silva, Dr. Rasika Ranaweera, Dr. Chandana Perera, Dr. Nuwanthi Katuwavila, and Dr. Madhavi Hewadikaram.
The opening ceremony was further graced by Mr. Kapila Liyanage, Senior HR Manager, Ms. Sherien Abeygoonesekera, Career Guidance Officer, Ms. Pavithra Subashini and Mr. Hansaja Banduge, Lecturers-in-Charge of NFORCE, as well as Ms. Sharini Samaranayake and Ms. Kaumadee Samarakoon, Industry Coordinators. The event was also supported by Ms. Maheshi Jayarathna, Ms. Prabodya Munasingha, university staff members, and the dedicated members of the NFORCE Club, whose collective efforts contributed significantly to the success of the programme.
Bringing together more than 100 leading companies, the career fair provided students with invaluable opportunities to engage directly with industry professionals, explore internship and graduate employment prospects, receive career guidance, and gain insights into current industry expectations. The event served as an important platform for strengthening industry-academia collaboration while empowering students to take confident steps toward their professional aspirations.
