NSBM Signs MOU with Enrich Tea & Food Exports (Pvt) Ltd
We are pleased to announce that we have officially entered into a strategic partnership with Enrich Tea & Food Exports (Pvt) Ltd through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
This collaboration marks a significant milestone in strengthening the bridge between academia and industry. It is expected to open new avenues for innovation, knowledge exchange, and industry-driven learning, while also creating enhanced internship, training, and career development opportunities for NSBM students. Through this partnership, both institutions aim to work closely on research initiatives, skill development programs, and real-world industry exposure that will better prepare students for the evolving global job market.
The MoU was formally signed by Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of NSBM, and Mr. Suminda Vithana, General Manager – Commercial & Operations of Enrich Tea & Food Exports (Pvt) Ltd.
The occasion was witnessed by a distinguished gathering of representatives from NSBM, including Dr. Nuwanthi Katuwavila (Dean – Faculty of Science), Dr. Madhavi Hewadikaram (Deputy Dean – Faculty of Science & Head, Department of Health Sciences), Dr. Miruna Rabindrakumar (Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Science), Ms. Sharini Samaranayake (Head of Industry Collaboration – Faculty of Science), and Ms. Sherien Abeygoonesekera (Career Guidance Officer).
Key delegates from Enrich Tea & Food Exports (Pvt) Ltd were also present, including Mr. Rajitha Pethiyagoda (Manager – Quality Assurance), further emphasizing the importance of this partnership.
