4th Students’ Research Symposium in Operations and Logistics (SRSOL–2026) at NSBM

The Department of Operations and Logistics of NSBM Green University successfully hosted the 4th Students’ Research Symposium in Operations and Logistics (SRSOL–2026) on 26th February 2026 under the theme “Agility, Technology, and Transformation: Driving Performance in Logistics, Industrial Management, and Project Execution.” The symposium featured Dr. T. Sivakumar, Senior Lecturer Grade I of the Department of Transport Management & Logistics Engineering at the University of Moratuwa, as the keynote speaker.
The event was graced by Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance; Dr. Thilini De Silva, Dean of the Faculty of Business; and Mr. Shaja Musthaffa, Head of the Department of Operations and Logistics, along with the academic staff of the department.
The symposium comprised three parallel sessions: Sustainable Systems & Transport Economics; Supply Chain Strategy & Logistics Service Optimization; and Operational Excellence, Agile Methodologies & Performance Management. Graduates presented their research, contributing valuable insights to the academic and professional community while reflecting emerging trends in agility, technology, and performance transformation.
The success of SRSOL–2026 was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the organizing team, including Symposium Chair Dr. Rashika Mudunkotuwa, Co-Chair Ms. Rekha Kulasekara, Symposium Secretary Ms. Sithumini Jayasekara, and the Organizing Committee.
