TechSpire 2025, the inaugural flagship excellence awards ceremony of the Faculty of Computing, NSBM Green University, was held recently, celebrating innovation, leadership, and outstanding student achievements. The event was graced by the presence of the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake and Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa. The event was organised under the guidance of the Dean – Faculty of Computing, Dr. Rasika Ranaweera and the Head of Department of Software Engineering and Computer Security – Mr. Naji Saravanapavan. It was organised by Mr. Anton Jayakody Lecturer of the Department of Data Science and Computer Science, together with the support of Ms. Gayathmi Kariyapperuma and Instructors of the faculty. 

 

The event featured Mr. Isira Adithya, a Security Researcher and Bug Bounty Hunter, as the guest speaker, who inspired students with his journey in cybersecurity and insights on continuous learning and innovation.

 

In the Student Awards, Team 404 and Team Power received Recognition Awards.

Team Tetraneurons won the Best Achievers’ Award, and Team CyperTech claimed the Best Performance Award.
