Final Day of Convocation Honours Future Tech Leaders from Plymouth Software Engineering & Networks Graduates
The concluding day of NSBM Convocation Week 2025 shone brightly on the graduates of the Bachelor of Science (Honours) Software Engineering and Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Networks, awarded by the University of Plymouth, UK.
Prof. Dafydd Moore, Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Plymouth, UK, delivered an inspiring convocation address, reflecting on the graduates’ journey, the challenges they overcame, and the immense potential they carry as future leaders in software engineering and technology.
The degrees were conferred by Prof. Moore in the presence of Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, Vice-Chancellor of NSBM Green University, with Dr. Rasika Ranaweera, Dean of the Faculty of Computing, accompanying the presentations. The ceremony also celebrated exceptional academic achievements, with the Best Performance Award proudly presented to Shenon Trishan Grashion Phillipsz of Bachelor of Science (Honours) Software Engineering and J Hashen Udesha Fernando as the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Networks’s top achiever.
