NSBM Nursing Undergraduates from the Department of Health Sciences, Faculty of Science participated in the International Nurses’ Day 2026 Exhibition organized by the Department of Nursing of Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital at the Hospital premises.

The exhibition was organized as part of the International Nurses’ Day 2026 celebrations and provided an enriching educational experience for nursing students. Through a range of informative displays and demonstrations conducted by nursing professionals, students were able to observe and gain a deeper understanding of various disease conditions, nursing interventions, and patient management strategies practiced within the healthcare sector.

This valuable learning experience served as an important platform for students to bridge theoretical learning with real-world clinical practices while celebrating the remarkable contribution of the nursing profession to society.

This opportunity was facilitated and coordinated by Ms. Sandyani de Silva, Principal and Course Coordinator of the Nursing Programme.

Heartfelt gratitude is extended to the Director of Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital, the Chief Nursing Officer, and the Department of Nursing of Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital for inviting NSBM students to participate in this educational event and for their continued commitment towards supporting nursing education and professional development.
