The official inauguration ceremony to welcome the newly enrolled students of our MBS and MBA Programmes was held on 13th December 2025 at the NSBM Green Boardroom. The event marked the formal commencement of the postgraduate academic journey for the new intake and reflected NSBM Green University’s commitment to academic excellence and industry engagement.

 

The ceremony comprised a keynote address, presentations, and information-sharing sessions designed to familiarize the newly enrolled candidates with the academic structure, administrative procedures, and expectations of their postgraduate studies.

 

A distinguished Chartered Accountant and corporate leader, Dr. Sujeewa Mudalige who is a Director Board Member of NSBM Green University, graced the occasion as the Keynote Speaker.

 

The event was further enriched by the presence of Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Dr. Piyumi Wickramasinghe, Dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies and Professional Advancement, Dr Rasika Ranaweera, Dean of the Faculty of Computing, Ms. Rekha Kulasekara, MBS Academic Coordinator, along with members of the NSBM academic and administrative staff, distinguished guests, and the newly enrolled Master’s candidates.

 

The inauguration concluded on an inspiring note, setting a strong foundation for the academic and professional development of the MBA and MBS students.
