The most anticipated academic celebration of the year has begun as we honour the hard work, determination, and extraordinary achievements of 3,400+ proud graduates of the NSBM Class of 2025.

 

Convocation Week opened with Session 1, celebrating 150 future innovators and designers from the NSBM Faculty of Engineering. This vibrant ceremony recognised graduates who successfully completed their degrees in Interior Design, Computer Systems Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, and Mechatronic Engineering, offered by NSBM Green University.

 

The awarding of degrees was officiated by Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, Vice-Chancellor of NSBM, in the presence of Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Deputy Vice-Chancellor; Prof. J. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance; Dr. Chandana Perera, Dean – Faculty of Engineering; Deans, academics, parents, and well-wishers.

 

Adding distinction to the occasion, Dr. Narendra De Silva, Head of Engineering at Lanka Electricity Company (Pvt) Ltd, delivered an inspiring keynote address.
