The Department of Accounting and Finance, Faculty of Business at NSBM Green University, successfully commenced Day 01 of the “Industry Ready” workshop series, designed to prepare undergraduates of the 23.2/24.1 Accounting batch for their upcoming third-year internship journey. 

The day focused on enhancing students’ professional readiness through a series of interactive sessions, including “Crafting Your Professional Story: CV Development Workshop” conducted by Mr. Sukhith Mendis (Founder & Creative Director – GoodStuff), “Building Your Digital Presence: LinkedIn for Career Growth” by Ms. Prabha Silva (Lecturer – Department of Management, NSBM Green University), and “From Classroom to Boardroom: Alumni Experiences” featuring Mr. Dinitha Harischandra (Assistant Manager – Risk and Control Hemas Holdings PLC) and Ms. Benuri Weerasinghe (Senior Accounts Payable Executive, IFS). 

 

The session provided valuable insights into professional branding, networking, and real-world readiness, inspiring students to take the next step toward becoming truly Industry Ready.
