Faculty of Business Hosts Experiential OBT for 25.3 Batch
The Faculty of Business successfully conducted an engaging and experiential outbound training program for the 25.3 batch of undergraduates as part of the Soft Skill Development module. This programme was designed to strengthen students’ essential soft skills through hands-on, activity-based learning.
The session focused on enhancing teamwork, leadership, communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and resilience – skills that are vital for both academic success and future professional growth. Through a series of structured challenges and group-based activities, students were encouraged to step out of their comfort zones, collaborate effectively, and build confidence in navigating real-world situations.
This Outbound Training Programme was organized by Ms. Rekha Kulasekara, Lead – Soft Skills and Professional Development, Faculty of Business, with the guidance and support of Ms. Thilini De Silva, Dean – Faculty of Business and Mr. Prasanna Perera, Senior Student Counselor, and the dedicated staff and student volunteers whose contributions ensured the smooth and successful execution of the event.
