Harithabhinandana 2026 Celebrates Culture, Creativity, and Unity at NSBM

Harithabhinandana 2026 was proudly held on 10 February 2026 at the FOE Car Park of NSBM Green University, transforming the venue into a captivating cultural space inspired by a powerful Yaka-themed aesthetic. The event stood as a vibrant celebration of tradition, creativity, and student expression.
Several schools participated in the competitions, with outstanding performances showcased across drama, singing, and written categories. The event highlighted exceptional young talent and reflected a strong appreciation for Sri Lanka’s rich cultural heritage.
The occasion was graced by Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, Vice Chancellor; Thilini De Silva, Dean of the Faculty of Business; and Thisal Yatiwara, Head of Student Affairs, together with distinguished invitees Sanath Gunathilake and Nirmala Ranathunga, adding prestige and encouragement to the celebration.
Organized under the guidance of the Literature Circle MICs, Oshan Piumantha and Sithumini Jayasekara, the event was further elevated by a dynamic performance from the Yaka Crew, along with talented performers Anupama Gunathilake, Pahanmi Kandhanarachchi, and Pulina Thulakshana.
