NSBM Faculty of Business Successfully Conducts Campus to Corporate - C2C 2026 Programme
The Faculty of Business of NSBM Green University successfully conducted the “Campus to Corporate (C2C) 2026” Programme for the students of the Plymouth University degree programmes on 25th May 2026 at the NSBM Auditorium.
Organized by the Professional Advancement Center of the Faculty of Business together with the N Force Unit, the programme engaged more than 600 second-year students as part of the newly introduced Corporate Training Module, designed to better prepare students for their internship journey and future professional careers.
The initiative focused on bridging the gap between academic life and the corporate world by enhancing students’ awareness of workplace expectations, professionalism, communication, adaptability, personal branding, and career readiness.
The main session was conducted by representatives from Hemas Consumer Brands, including Ms. Senuri Senevirathna, Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding, Ms. Chathurika Abeyrathna, Executive – Talent Management, and Ms. Dilushi Warunika, Executive – Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding. The session covered key areas related to corporate readiness, workplace culture, communication skills, teamwork, interview preparation, and professional conduct within corporate environments.
The programme was attended by Dr. Thilini De Silva, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Mr. Venura Colombage, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Business, Mr. Hansaja Banduge, Head of the Professional Advancement Center of the Faculty of Business, Ms. Tharushi Attanayake, Corporate Training Coordinator for Plymouth University, Ms. Sherine Abegoonasekera, Career Guidance Officer of the N Force Unit, together with members of the N Force Club.
As part of the C2C 2026 Programme, several specialized industry-focused sessions were also conducted for students representing different academic disciplines within the Faculty of Business.
A dedicated session for students of the Bachelor of Management (Honours) in Accounting & Finance, Applied Economics, and Business Analytics programmes was facilitated by Dr. Buddhi Pathiraja, Associate Director at Deloitte. The discussion provided valuable insights into the evolving corporate landscape and highlighted the competencies required in data-driven, analytical, financial, and consulting professions. Students gained practical exposure to professional etiquette, communication, recruitment processes, and career readiness within the corporate sector.
Students of the Bachelor of Business Management in Tourism, Hospitality and Events participated in a specialized session conducted by Mr. Yasas Nanayakkara, Co-Founder of Elevate Hospitality (Pvt) Ltd. The session focused on emerging trends in the tourism and hospitality industry, customer experience management, professionalism, leadership, adaptability, and career development within service-oriented industries.
Another specialized session was organized for students of the Bachelor of Management (Honours) in International Business and Bachelor of Management (Honours) in Marketing Management programmes. The session was facilitated by Mr. Shazly Oowise, Director of Eurobrands (Pvt) Ltd, who shared valuable insights into global business trends, cross-cultural business interactions, brand management, customer engagement, changing consumer behaviour, and market-driven decision-making.
Through the Campus to Corporate (C2C) 2026 Programme, NSBM Green University continues to strengthen the connection between academic learning and industry practice by equipping students with the skills, industry exposure, and professional mindset required to become confident, adaptable, and future-ready professionals.
