NSBM Green University has been honoured as the Winner for Excellence in Quality in the Education (Large Scale) category at the Sri Lanka National Quality Award (SLNQA) 2023 ceremony. This recognition, presented by the Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI), celebrates NSBM’s unwavering commitment to delivering world-class quality in higher education.

The grand award ceremony was held today at the Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo. The event was graced by the presence of Hon. Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, Prime Minister of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and Professor Chrishantha Abeysena, Honourable Minister of Science and Technology.

SLNQA is an annual award that honours Sri Lankan organisations that excel in quality management and achievement. It is managed by the SLSI and is implemented based on the stringent and globally recognised criteria used in the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Awards of the USA (MBNQA).

This prestigious achievement reinforces NSBM Green University’s position as a leader in quality higher education and reflects its strong dedication to nurturing future-ready, well-rounded graduates who will contribute meaningfully to the nation and beyond.
