NSBM Cricket Team showcased outstanding skill, teamwork and determination to emerge unbeaten champions at the SLIIT T20 Cricket Showdown 2025, competing against 8 strong university teams.

 

Dominating the first round with convincing victories against NIBM, CINEC and SLIIT, our team advanced to the semi-finals, where they faced KDU University and secured a thrilling win by 8 wickets.

 

In the grand finale, NSBM once again faced SLIIT and clinched the championship with a commanding 5-wicket victory, powered by a game-changing innings from Dulaj Bandara (59 not out)*. Adding to the team’s success, Asitha Wanninayake was recognized as the Player of the Final, while Dilhara Polgampola earned the title of Best Fielder of the Tournament.
