EXODUS’25 by Student Circle of Accounting and Finance Redefines “Accounting in the Age of AI”
The curtains have fallen on EXODUS’25, an inspiring initiative by the Student Circle of Accounting and Finance (SCAF), leaving behind insights and inspiration that will echo for years to come.
Guided by the theme “Accounting in the Age of AI,” this year’s event brought together industry leaders, renowned academics, and aspiring young professionals to examine how artificial intelligence is reshaping the future of accounting and finance. A key highlight of the day was the Grand Launch of the 4th Edition of SCAF Times, crafted entirely by the talented editorial board, with a profound impact of AI on finance, featuring thought-provoking articles and perspectives
The event was graced by Ms. Thilini De Silva, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Ms. Anne Pathirana, Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance, Ms. Rhythmani Perera, Lecturer-in-charge of SCAF and academic staff members. Adding to the momentum, the event featured a stimulating panel discussion with:

The excitement reached its peak with the Ultimate Battle of EXODUS’25 Quiz Competition, where Team Quad Squad emerged as champions, while Team Debitize claimed the well-earned runner-up position.
