The Inauguration Ceremony to officially inaugurate the 9th Intake of Interest-Free Student Loan Scheme (IFSLS) of the Ministry of Education officially commenced with Session 1, successfully held at the NSBM Auditorium. Spanning over three days and organized into six sessions, the ceremony marks a promising beginning for the newest cohort at NSBM Green University.

The event was graced by the presence of Ms. Thilini De Silva, Dean – Faculty of Business, Dr. Chandana Perera, Dean – Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Rasika Ranaweera, Dean- Faculty of Computing, Dr. Nuwanthi Katuwawila, Dean – Faculty of Science, Dr. Piyumi Wickramasinghe, Dean -Faculty of Postgraduate Studies, Ms. Yasintha Gunawardhane, Director of Interest-Free Student Loan Division, Ministry of Education, and Ms. Madhumali Chathurangani, Asst. Director of Interest-Free Student Loan Division, Ministry of Education along with Heads of Departments, as well as members of the academic and non-academic staff of NSBM.

During the ceremony, the Deans of the Faculty of Business and Faculty of Engineering, along with the Director of the IFSLS Division of the Ministry of Education and several senior academics, extended their warm greetings to the new students. They shared valuable insights into the enriching academic journey that lies ahead and encouraged students to embrace learning with enthusiasm, cultivating new knowledge, skills, and attitudes during their time at NSBM.
