Faculty of Science, in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science (SLAAS) – Section E2 hosted an insightful session for our Science undergraduates.

The session was honoured to have Prof. Sanjeewa Gamagedara from University of Central Oklahoma, USA, as the keynote speaker and his talk on “The Academic Journey of an Analytical Chemist” was both inspiring and highly relevant to our undergraduates who are exploring higher education opportunities and career pathways in science. The session was highly interactive, with students actively engaging in Q&A, gaining valuable guidance, and discovering new academic and professional avenues in the field of chemistry.

This initiative was organized under the guidance and support of Dr. Nuwanthi Katuwawila, Dean of the Faculty of Science, along with Dr. Induni Siriwardene and Dr. Ranmal Gunathilake from SLAAS.
