The Vice Chancellor of NSBM Green University, Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, along with the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, recently undertook an official visit to Victoria University (VU) in Melbourne, Australia—NSBM’s longstanding academic partner.
This visit marked a pivotal moment in the enduring academic alliance between NSBM and VU. During their time at VU, NSBM leadership engaged in a series of productive meetings with senior VU officials. The discussions emphasized mutual interest in enhancing collaborative efforts and identifying new avenues for academic partnership.
The visit provided NSBM leaders the opportunity to meet and connect with several key figures from Victoria University, including: Prof. Adam Shoemaker, Vice-Chancellor and President; Ms. Caryn Nery, Director of TNE Partnerships; Prof. Rob Strathdee, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean of the College of Arts, Business, Law, Education and IT; Dr. Ranjith Ihalanayaka, Dean and Head of Program, VU Business School and Ms. Raquel Licciardi, Director of Teaching and Learning, TNE Partnerships.
