Profile
Ms. Gimhani Rangalla is a Lecturer (Probationary) in the Department of Accounting and Finance, Faculty of Business, at NSBM Green University. She holds a First-Class Honors degree in Bachelor of Management in Accounting and Finance from NSBM Green University and was awarded the Gold Medal for Excellent Academic Performance in Management Accounting by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), UK.She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Finance at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, while also working toward completing her CIMA qualifications to further enhance her professional expertise. She is a proud alumna of Anula Vidyalaya, Nugegoda.
Prior to joining academia, Ms. Rangalla gained industry experience in Accounting, Tax, and Business Process Solutions during her tenure at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited and WNS Global Services Limited. She began her journey at NSBM as a Teaching Assistant in June 2022 and has since advanced to the position of Lecturer (Probationary). She actively contributes to the Accounting and Finance discipline, integrating practical insights into her teaching.
Beyond her academic responsibilities, Ms. Rangalla serves as the Program Coordinator for the Business Degree Foundation Program and previously held the role of Lecturer-in-Charge of AIESEC at NSBM from 2022 to 2024.
