Under SDG Goal 1 – No Poverty, focusing on Target 1.5 – building resilience from economic, social, and environmental shocks and disasters, Project NOVA has been a journey of purpose and impact.

 

The NOVA Club, established at NSBM Green University, aims to support underprivileged communities and take action towards reducing poverty. As the first initiative, stationery bundles were presented to 10 deserving students, helping them take another step forward in their educational journey.

 

This milestone took place on 6th August 2025 at the Samurdhi Division of the Divisional Secretariat Office, Homagama, in collaboration with dedicated community leaders. The initiative was carried out by the 24.2 batch undergraduates as part of their CREST programme, showcasing their commitment to social responsibility and community development.
