Team Piyawara united under SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, specifically Target 17.7, to bring care and support to the elderly at Thisarana Elders’ Home, Pannipitiya.

 

Through collaborative efforts, fundraising, and dedication, essential items and food were donated, alongside meaningful interaction and companionship. The initiative uplifted the lives of elders while demonstrating how strong partnerships can create lasting social change and community impact.

 

The project was carried out by the 24.2 batch undergraduates as part of their CREST programme, reflecting their commitment to sustainable community empowerment.
