NSBM Speakers’ Club proudly unfolded Speech Olympics 2025, a vibrant celebration of shared voices and diverse perspectives, on 28th May. This inter-faculty contest brought together eloquent undergraduates from across all faculties, who took the stage not merely to compete, but to speak with authenticity, passion, and purpose. The energy in the hall was palpable—filled with bold ideas, heartfelt stories, and genuine inspiration.
The contest featured an esteemed panel of judges; Mr. Shane Fernandus, Ms. Anoka Abeyrathne, and Mr. Dinal Edirisinghe.
The occasion was graced by Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Ms. Thilini De Silva, Dean, Faculty of Business, Dr. Piyumi Wickramasinghe, Dean, Faculty of Postgraduate and Professional Advancement, and Mr. Thisal Yatawara, Head of Student Affairs.
Speech Olympics 2025 was a collaborative success, led by the Lecturers-in-Charge of the NSBM Speakers’ Club, Ms. Ashani Jayasundera and Mr. Sachin Kulandaivel, together with the dedicated Organizing Committee. The event was made possible by the support and contributions of many individuals who stood by the team from brainstorming to execution.
