NSBM Green University officially entered a strategic partnership with Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Life Limited through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 18th February 2026. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in strengthening the bridge between academia and industry, paving the way for innovation, meaningful industry engagement, and enhanced career development opportunities for students of NSBM Green University.

The MoU was formally signed by Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake – Deputy Vice Chancellor of NSBM Green University and Mr. Nalin Subasinghe – CFO of Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Life Limited. The occasion was witnessed by representatives from NSBM Green University, including Dr. Chandana Perera – Dean Faculty of Engineering, Mr. Hansaja Banduge – Probationary, Lecturer Faculty of Business and Ms. Sherein Abeygoonasekara – Career Guidance Officer.

Key delegates representing Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Life Limited were also present including Mr. Udayapriya Imbulpitiyalage – Deputy General Manager (HR), Ms. Uththara  Kapugamage and Ms. Pratheepa Mahesan.
