In celebration of NSBM’s 9th Anniversary, another significant milestone in the university’s advancement was marked with the Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony for the Proposed Civil Engineering Laboratories Complex of the Faculty of Engineering.

The foundation stone was ceremonially laid by Vice Chancellor, Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, in the presence of Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Prof. J. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Deans of the faculties, Heads of departments, and members of the academic and non-academic staff, together with the student community.

The upcoming three-storey facility will feature six state-of-the-art Civil Engineering laboratories, along with modern learning and demonstration spaces and academic offices — symbolizing yet another proud stride in NSBM’s journey of academic excellence and infrastructure development.

This momentous occasion stands as a historic step in shaping the future of engineering education at NSBM Green University.
