NSBM Green University proudly launched the Student Immersion Programme 2025 in collaboration with Jaipuria Institute of Management, India. As part of this exciting programme, four students and an associate professor from Jaipuria are visiting NSBM for a 12-day journey of learning and cultural exchange. Their visit began with a cordial discussion with Vice Chancellor, Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe on the very first day.

 

The inauguration ceremony of the programme was held at NSBM Green Boardroom, welcoming Professor Baratha Dodankotuwa, Head of Academic Development & Quality Assurance; Ms. Thilini de Silva, Dean of the Faculty of Business; Dr. Piumi Wickramasinghe, Dean of Postgraduate & Professional Advancement; and Dr Om Kumari, Associate Professor at Jaipuria and the four visiting students. The ceremony was followed by a campus tour and interactive activities with the vibrant NSBM student community.

 

Over the next 12 days, participants from NSBM and Jaipuria will engage in sustainability workshops, industry visits to Hirdaramani’s apparel operations, excursions to the misty hills of Nuwara Eliya, and a cultural exploration of Galle’s historic forts, colonial architecture, and vibrant heritage.
