NSBM Green University signed an important agreement (MoU) with Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC. This partnership will help students with new opportunities in innovation, industry collaboration, and career development. It will give students chances to gain work experience, internships, and career guidance.

The MoU was signed by Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of NSBM, and Mr. Roshan Kulasuriya, Director of Human Resources and Business Integration at Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC.

NSBM was represented by Ms. Thilini de Silva (Dean – Faculty of Business), Dr. Rasika Ranaweera (Dean – Faculty of Computing), Ms. Sherien Abeygoonesekera (Career Guidance Officer), Ms. Pavithra Subashini (Head of Industry Collaboration, Computing), Mr. Iman Ashly (Head of Industry Collaboration, Engineering) and Mr. Maleesha Edirisinghe (Faculty of Business Lecturer).

The event was also attended by important Singer representatives: Mr. Sampath Jayatilake (General Manager of HR Operations), Ms. Asinki Perera (Senior Assistant Manager of HR), and Ms. Dimara de Silva (Senior Executive of HR). This partnership will create strong connections between NSBM students and the industry, helping students build a successful career path.
