The FOSS Community of our Faculty of Computing successfully held its FOSS Meetup on 9th October 2025, bringing together passionate student volunteers to learn, connect, and collaborate under the spirit of FOSS Community. This event aimed to raise awareness about the FOSS Community, inspire new members to get involved, and discuss upcoming initiatives for the next year.

 

The event was coordinated by Ms. Thisarani Wickramasinghe, Coordinator of the FOSS Community, under the guidance of Mr. Naji Saravanapavan, Head of the Department of Software Engineering and Computer Security.

 

It was a great opportunity for students to network, share ideas, and strengthen the FOSS community at NSBM.
