The Faculty of Business had the honor of hosting Dr. Mary Shuttleworth, Founder of Youth for Human Rights International, for an inspiring session on “Sustainability and the Role of Youth in Achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals” on 10th September 2025 at the NSBM Auditorium.

In her address, Dr. Shuttleworth emphasized the pivotal role of young people in driving sustainable change and highlighted how education, awareness, and leadership can transform societies in pursuit of the United Nations’ SDGs. The interactive session deeply resonated with NSBM students, encouraging them to embrace their role as global citizens and changemakers.

 

Following the session, Dr. Shuttleworth toured the NSBM Green University premises, where she was introduced to the university’s eco-friendly design, modern facilities, and student-centered learning spaces. The visit reaffirmed NSBM’s commitment to shaping future-ready graduates within a sustainable and globally conscious campus environment.
