NSBM Faculty of Business Hosts Industry-Led Session on Crafting Career-Ready CVs
NSBM Faculty of Business successfully hosted an engaging and career-focused guest session titled “Crafting a Career-Ready CV: Practical Insights from Industry,” organized under the Professional Development Module for undergraduate students.
The session was designed to equip students with essential knowledge and practical guidance on CV preparation, with a strong emphasis on effectively presenting skills, experiences and potential in line with current industry expectations. The primary objective of the session was to prepare them for internships and future career opportunities.
The guest lecture was conducted by Ms. Sadhanie Goonetilleke, Assistant Manager – HR Business Partnering & Talent Management at Noyon Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, a subsidiary of MAS Holdings. The interactive nature of the session encouraged students to reflect on their strengths and gain a clear understanding of how to position themselves effectively in a competitive job market.
This session will be followed by individual CV feedback sessions, providing students with personalized guidance to further refine their CVs based on industry standards and expectations.
