NSBM Faculty of Business Hosts C2C (Campus to Corporate) Corporate Grooming Programme

C2C (Campus to Corporate), the flagship corporate grooming programme of our Faculty of Business, took place at the NSBM Auditorium with the participation of eminent resource persons from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) – Ms. Vinodini de Silva, Mr. Aravinda Lorensuhewa, and Mr. Abiylackshmana Prabakaran.
 
The session offered valuable insights on “Becoming a Corporate-Ready Graduate” and “Leveraging LinkedIn for Professional Growth,” inspiring students to prepare for their transition from campus life to the corporate arena.
 
The Campus to Corporate (C2C) initiative is organized targeting students who are about to begin their compulsory internships under the Industrial Training module. It aims to bridge the gap between university learning and corporate expectations by equipping students with the essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes to excel in the professional world.
 
As part of the Campus to Corporate (C2C) initiative, the Faculty of Business conducted a series of inspiring sessions across its specializations, connecting undergraduates with leading industry professionals.
 
Accounting & Finance students gained valuable industry insights from: Mr. Lahiru Karunarathna, Head of Operations & Business Development at Achievers; Co-Founder/CEO, RADTS Ceylon, Mr. Mahesh Semage, Head of Group Corporate Finance, CBL Corporate Services and Mr. Dhananjaya Dayananda, Chief Internal Auditor, SANASA Development Bank PLC.
 
Project Management undergraduates engaged in an impactful session led by Mr. Asitha Dais, Senior Delivery Manager, and Mr. Dilupa Hapuarachchi, Vice President – HR, from HealthRecon Connect, exploring real-world project management challenges and professional growth strategies.
 
Business Management students benefited from the insights of Mr. Pramodth Fernando, Senior Manager – International Business, Hemas Consumer Brands.
The Department of Legal Studies hosted Ms. A. Rochelle P. Ariyawansa, Attorney-at-Law and Visiting Lecturer, for an inspiring session on “The Future Career of a Lawyer in Sri Lanka.”
 
Tourism and Hospitality Management undergraduates engaged with Ms. Gayani Fernando, Assistant Manager – HR, and Ms. Himansa Wickramasinghe, HR Executive and proud NSBM alumna, both from Connaissance De Ceylan (Pvt) Ltd / Thema Collection.
 
Business Communication students gained inspiration from Mr. Varun Chandramohan, Senior Manager – Engagement & Corporate Communications, HealthRecon Connect (Pvt) Ltd.
 
Through these insightful sessions, C2C 2025 continues to empower NSBM students to transition seamlessly from classroom learning to professional excellence.
