The Department of Legal Studies of NSBM Green University successfully conducted a workshop on Fundamental Rights Applications on 6 January 2026 at the NSBM Green Boardroom.

The workshop was conducted by Ms. Gangulali De Silva Dayarathna, Attorney-at-Law, who shared her professional expertise and practical insights into the application of Fundamental Rights in Sri Lanka, drawing from real-world legal practice.

As part of the session, students were provided with two case studies based on actual Fundamental Rights violations. The students presented their analysis on the application of the law to each case, followed by discussion and moderation by the resource person, enabling an engaging and practice-oriented learning experience.
