The Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Fathmath Nishan paid a special visit to NSBM Green University, accompanied by A high-level delegation from the Maldives Ministry of Education.
The visiting delegation was warmly welcomed by the Vice Chancellor of NSBM, Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, along with the top management team. They engaged in a productive discussion, exploring avenues for academic collaboration and partnership.
During the visit, the Maldivian delegation toured the NSBM premises, gaining first-hand experience of the university’s state-of-the-art infrastructure, modern facilities, and vibrant learning environment.
Dr. Nishan and the delegation expressed their deep admiration for the NSBM model, acknowledging university’s commitment to excellence in higher education and unique role in shaping Sri Lanka’s knowledge economy. The visit also opened new pathways for Maldivian students to pursue their higher studies at NSBM Green University.
