The third episode of the INSURGENCE ’25 guest lecture series took place, setting the stage for an extraordinary journey of learning and professional growth. The series continued with an inspiring guest lecture on “Strategies for Continuous Improvement in Modern Industries” by Ms. Tharika Gamage, Group Manager QA & QMS at Jay Jay Mills Lanka.

 

This enlightening session, specially tailored for the 2nd Year Business Management students, was organized by the Industrial Management Circle of the Department of Operations and Logistics, NSBM Green University. The session aimed to provide students with real-world business insights into continuous improvement strategies, equipping them with knowledge of modern industrial practices to foster innovation and drive sustained growth.

 

The event’s success was elevated by the gracious presence of Ms. Thilini De Silva, Dean, Faculty of Business, and Mr. Shaja Musthaffa, Head, Department of Operations and Logistics. The event was conducted under the guidance of Ms. Rekha Kulasekara, Lecturer – Department of Operations and Logistics.
