A group of students from our 25.1 Batch, representing Group 13, successfully carried out a meaningful greening initiative at Pitipana Uththararamaya Temple on 17th August 2025. The project was implemented in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 15: Life on Land.

 

Key contributions of the initiative included planting 5 saplings to enhance the beauty of the temple garden, distributing 50 fruit plants to Sunday School students and conducting an awareness session on environmental protection and the benefits of tree planting.

 

This initiative not only enriched the temple’s environment but also inspired young students to actively contribute towards sustainability, bridging religious education with environmental responsibility.
