Faculty of Business Empowers Student Success Through Nutrition and Fitness

The Faculty of Business successfully hosted an insightful and engaging guest lecture titled “Fueling the Future: Healthy Food Habits and Physical Fitness for Student Success”, specially organized for the 25.2 batch undergraduates. The session focused on raising awareness of the importance of healthy lifestyle habits in enhancing both academic performance and overall well-being.
 
The guest lecture was conducted by Dr. Charithe Gallage, a qualified medical doctor with a strong background in health and wellness. Drawing from his medical expertise and practical experience, Dr. Gallage delivered an impactful session to an audience of over 300 students. He emphasized the value of balanced nutrition and introduced realistic and time-efficient fitness practices suitable for students.
 
His informative and inspiring talk encouraged students to take charge of their physical and mental health and adopt sustainable wellness practices that will benefit them far beyond university life.
 
The session was organized by Ms. Rekha Kulasekara, Lead – Soft Skills and Professional Development, Faculty of Business, under the guidance of Ms. Thilini De Silva, Dean – Faculty of Business.
