Dean of the Faculty of Business Participates as a Panelist at the 39th CACCI Conference
The Dean of the Faculty of Business of NSBM Green University, Ms. Thilini De Silva, took part as a panelist at the 39th Conference of the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI), held on 11th November 2025 at Cinnamon Life, Colombo. The event was co-hosted by the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka (FCCISL) and CACCI, bringing together business leaders, policymakers, and industry experts from across 28 member countries.
The conference served as a prominent regional platform for dialogue on emerging economic trends, fostering cross-border collaborations, and strengthening strategic partnerships to drive sustainable regional growth.
Representing the higher education sector, Ms. De Silva contributed to the Plenary Session on “Achieving Inclusive and Resilient Growth for a Sustainable Future.” In her remarks, she shared insights drawn from the NSBM Green University model of sustainable education, emphasizing the transformative role of academia in advancing equitable, adaptable, and environmentally conscious development for the next generation.
