As part of the CREST Programme, Group 14 – Fix Force from NSBM Green University (Batch 24.2) launched a sustainable infrastructure initiative to enhance community safety.

 

With strong encouragement and support from the residents of 2nd Lane, Beruketiya, Kiribaththuduwa (Ekamuthu Mawatha 2), solar-powered street lights were installed across a 250-meter stretch, improving night-time visibility and promoting safety.

 

This project aligns with SDG 9: Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure, specifically Target 9.1 – Develop quality, reliable, sustainable, and resilient infrastructure to support economic development and human well-being, with a focus on affordable and equitable access for all – promoting clean energy and resilient, people-centered development.
