Child Protection Awareness Initiative By 24.2 Batch Undergraduates

Based on UN SDG Goal 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, focusing on Target 16.2 – ending abuse, exploitation, trafficking, and all forms of violence against children, a Child Protection Awareness Initiative was launched on 4th August 2025 to strengthen child safety and rights.
Under the initiative, an awareness banner on child protection and justice was created and donated to three schools: WP/HO Pitipana Kanishta Vidyalaya, WP/HO Dolahena Kanishta Vidyalaya, and WP/HO Dampe Kanishta Vidyalaya.
This initiative serves as a visual educational tool, promoting awareness of child rights and safety while contributing to a more informed, responsible, and protective community environment.
The project was carried out by the 24.2 batch undergraduates as part of their CREST programme, reflecting their commitment to building safe and just institutions for future generations.
