The Department of Accounting & Finance, Faculty of Business, NSBM Green University, successfully hosted the Grand Finale of BizWizards 2025, its flagship interschool Case Study and Quiz Competition, on 18th September 2025.

 

The event brought together outstanding young minds from leading schools across the Western province to showcase their knowledge, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

English Medium Case Study

• 1st Place – Alethea International School, Dehiwala

• 2nd Place – Gateway College, Colombo

• 3rd Place – Muslim Ladies College

 

Sinhala Medium Case Study

• 1st Place – Mahinda Rajapaksha College, Homagama

• 2nd Place – Dharmapala Vidyalaya, Pannipitiya

 

Quiz Competition

• 1st Place – Lyceum International School, Nugegoda

• 2nd Place – St. Thomas’ College, Mt. Lavinia

 

The occasion was graced by Ms. Thilini De Silva, Dean of the Faculty of Business, and Ms. Anne Pathiranage, Head of the Department of Accounting & Finance, together with our distinguished panelists, Mr. Kith Perera, Associate Manager – New Business Development & Employer Relations, AICPA & CIMA, Mr. Ovin Bimsara, Senior Lecturer at CIMA and Chairman of Future Minds, Ms. Anithra Ranasinghe, ERP Consultant at Fortude and Mr. Malshan Gunawardana, Lead Engineer at Inivos.
