The CompuVate Association of the Department of Software Engineering and Computer Security, Faculty of Computing, NSBM Green University held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026 on 26th January 2026 at the Green Boardroom, marking a significant milestone in the association’s journey of fostering innovation, collaboration, and technological excellence among aspiring computing professionals.

 

Graced by distinguished academics, the event welcomed the presence of Dr. Rasika Ranaweera, Dean of the Faculty of Computing, along with the Mistress-in-Charge of the CompuVate Association, Ms. Lakni Peiris, and members of the academic staff of the Faculty of Computing.

 

The AGM served as an inspiring platform where the current committee presented the vision and strategic direction of the association to the newly appointed leadership board, while strengthening connections between past and present members. The discussions reflected on past achievements and highlighted the importance of teamwork, leadership, and creativity in shaping the future of the association.

 

Organized under the guidance of Ms. Lakni Peiris, the AGM also featured a tribute to the outgoing committee for their dedicated service and impactful contributions for the year 2025/2026, followed by the official induction of the new committee for the new year 2026/2027, entrusted with leading the association into another dynamic and progressive year.
